Our tailor-made journeys in Mongolia are shaped around people and communities — from time with herding families to days spent in small provincial towns — as well as seasons and the realities of daily life.
We bring our country-wide research, long-term local partnerships, and years of working on the ground across Mongolia. You bring openness, flexibility, and a willingness to let a journey unfold. Together, we shape something personal.
Plans may shift with the weather, road conditions, or the natural rhythm of local life — that’s part of travelling in Mongolia, and we’ll guide you through any changes and challenges along the way.
Because of the way we work, no two journeys are ever the same.
Our tailor-made journeys work best for travellers of any age who:
value people and place over polished itineraries
understand that the journey itself matters as much as the destination
are comfortable when plans shift due to weather or local life
enjoy time unfolding slowly rather than being tightly scheduled
recognise that Mongolia doesn’t run to a script — and that’s part of its beauty
are physically prepared for long road days and simple, sometimes basic, accommodation
They’re probably not the right fit if you:
need fixed schedules and guaranteed outcomes
are looking for luxury accommodation throughout
prefer experiences curated or staged for social media
have a strict tick-list of locations you want to “complete”
Below are a few examples to spark ideas.
Each reflects the way we travel: small-scale, people-centred, and shaped by real conditions on the ground. These journeys can be adapted, combined, or simply used as inspiration for something that fits your timing and interests.

My partner and I have just completed a 10 day trip with Eternal Landscapes and could not be happier. We covered a lot of ground, saw some amazing sites ( and sights!) and were incredibly well supported by both our driver Ganba and our guide ( and wonderful chef) the amazing Aidaa. Thanks Jess, for the communications that made the whole process seamless. We hope to do another trip to Mongolia to see more of the country and would certainly like to travel with you again!Posted on Facebook![]()

We were so pleased that we chose Eternal Landscapes for our trip to Mongolia; we had the most fantastic holiday. Right from the outset, communication was great. Jess got in touch with us to find out about our interests and planned a private tour that suited us perfectly. Once on the trip, all the arrangements ran smoothly right from the pick up at the airport. We had the most amazing time, staying with nomadic families in their gers, hiking across the beautiful landscapes and a frozen lake, seeing wild horses in the national parks. We had a wonderful guide and driver throughout the trip - both are Mongolian and our guide spoke excellent English. Eternal Landscapes know and love Mongolia and its people - our trip gave us an insight into the lives of the local people and was one of the most enjoyable and interesting experiences we have ever had.Posted on Google![]()

Exceptional customer service from first enquiry to checking in after the trip, Jess kept me well informed throughout and has created a trip itinerary that was packed with excitement from the very first day in Mongolia. If you are a solo traveller, do not hesitate to book with this company - Aidaa and Turuu were the best guides, always took care of us whilst making everyday fun, and I now count them as friends. Mongolia is a beautiful country full of inspiring people, and I felt so welcomed in every home we visited. Thank you for immersing me into such a special culture, I will never forget itPosted on Tripadvisor![]()

Mind Blown! Wow! Booked a private tour with 2 Russian Furgon vans and 4 incredible drivers/trip assistants in the far NE of the Country - In the steps of Chinggis Khan. Pre tour booking was handled excellently after many changes ;) Preparations were easy after following Jess’ incredibly detailed lists. And then off to Mongolia. What a place. Redefining the middle of nowhere! Vast expanses of green fields as far as the eye can see. Nomads, horses, Gers, Mutton, curd, eagles. Just Like being inside a travel guide. Organising a tour in the harsh environment of rural Mongolia is quite a feat and this team did an incredible job. Trip of a lifetime!!Posted on Google![]()

We had a fantastic 3-week private tour of Mongolia with Eternal Landscapes. Jess from Eternal Landscapes was very helpful and knowledgeable in providing an itinerary that was a great introduction to the country. The partnerships Eternal Landscapes has with the hosts of the stay meant that a) we were able to stay in beautiful locations and b) we were able to experience the warmth of the local families and get an insight into the way of life. In particular the location at Khogno Khan within walking distance of the sand dunes was one of the most beautiful places I have been to. The vehicle used for the tour was a very comfortable four by four; before we went this was a worry about how bad the roads would be – this turned out not to be an issue at all. We never felt under time pressure at any of the locations and Turuu (our driver) and Ula (our guide) clearly wanted to make sure we got the best out of every experience. The food was excellent and Ula did a great job providing a range of delicious meals. Finally, I thought the price was very reasonable compared to the major tour companies and the added value of a private tour combined with the local knowledge and connections. We loved Mongolia and Eternal Landscapes made it a great trip, I wish I knew of equivalent companies for other countries.Verified by TrustindexTrustindex verified badge is the Universal Symbol of Trust.
